Week 10 Pool's Poll: No one asked for this, but it's back!

That's right, the most dysfunctional and irrational ranking system is back and just the same as it was in 2001 when I first started keeping track of this stuff in Microsoft Database. Back then I felt there was a bias when deciding the BCS and felt that I had the perfect solution. I didn't. However, that hasn't stopped me from doing it every year since.

The LSU Tigers have made their mark on the college football world setting up a battle of SEC West giants when they face Alabama in two weeks. I don't know if this is the best or worst week to start as seemingly everyone of significance is taking a week off. The Bayou Bengals are one of nine undefeated teams with three of those coming from the Big Ten.

Now as a refresher the WP represents the average rank of the teams strength of opponent in a win and LP is the same, but for a loss. The bigger factor is record, the fewer times you lose, the higher you're ranked. With that in mind here's the first Top 25 Rankings of the season.
