Fun Facts: He played for the Cleveland Rams, but World War II caused the team to pause operations. They loaned him out to the Green Bay Packers before Adams joined the war effort. Then when he came back, he signed with the Cleveland Browns, a new team founded in 1946. The Rams, taking exception, sued Adams so he could not play for the Browns. Adams won his case and was able to play for the other team in Cleveland. He would share kicking duties with some guy named Lou Groza.
