The magical run for the Shockers has come to an end as they were bounced from the tournament by the Texas Longhorns. Wichita State entered the tournament after winning the American Athletic Conference tournament in a surprise victory over Cincinnati. The Longhorns used a late surge, and shot well from beyond the arc to seal the victory. Texas will play Butler in the opening round on Thursday.
