Hurricane Florence has Different Plans for College Football

The weather has been a problem already this year with heavy rains and severe thunderstorms canceling Iowa State and Nebraska's home openers. This weekend, hurricane season rears its ugly head with Hurricane Florence coming up the East Coast. Some teams have already made changes while others are playing by ear. Then some schools have preemptively canceled. Here's a breakdown of all the changes.

Coastal Carolina @ Campbell
The Chanticleers (1-1) evacuated Myrtle Beach, SC, and will head north to Buies Creek, NC where the Campbell Camels (2-0) will now play host to the contest. On a side note, if you can make the 2:00 P.M. kickoff tomorrow, admission is free.

Boston College @ Wake Forest
The Golden Eagles (2-0) and Demon Deacons will have their kickoff pushed ahead on Thursday night to 5:30 P.M. with the potential for the game to be postponed if the hurricane reaches North Carolina by then.

Ohio @ Virginia
The Bobcats (1-0) will now head to Nashville, TN, instead of Charlottesville, VA, as the Cavaliers (1-1) will use Vanderbilt's stadium as their home base during the storm. Kickoff is set for 4:00 P.M. on Saturday.

Old Dominion @ Charlotte
The Monarchs (0-2) and 49ers (1-1) are still on for Saturday's contest, but depending on the path of the hurricane, that could change.

Norfolk St @ Liberty
The Flames (1-1) have rescheduled the contest for Dec. 1, but the game will be canceled if the Spartans make the FCS playoffs.

ECU @ No. 13 Virginia Tech
The Hokies (2-0) have canceled their match with ECU (1-1).

No. 14 West Virginia @ NCST
The contest between the Mountaineers (2-0) and the Wolfpack (2-0) has also been canceled.

No. 18 UCF @ UNC
For the second year in a row the Golden Knights (2-0) have had their Power 5 match-up canceled due to weather. Probably best for the Tar Heels (0-2).
