USC (1-0) got more than they bargained for from UNLV (0-1) who only trailed the Trojans 19-14 going into the half. It stayed that way through three quarters as both teams traded punts on their first two possessions of the second half.
Then a light switch kicked on as the first play of the fourth was a J.T. Daniels to Amon-Ra St. Brown connection for a 43-yard score. The Rebels followed with another punt and the Trojans added another touchdown.
USC would end up scoring on its final four possessions to stave off the upset minded Rebels. Lexington Thomas had 136 yards and a touchdown on the ground to lead the way for UNLV.
UNLV should get a chance to get in the win column as they draw UTEP (0-1) next. The Miners have dropped 13 straight after being blown out by FCS Northern Arizona.

It was supposed to be a quick and easy day for Michigan St(1-0), but Utah St (0-1) came in with other ideas. The Aggies marched down the field on the first drive of the game and finished it off with a Jordan Love touchdown run. The Spartans responded with 13 unanswered, before the two teams traded touchdowns to bring it to 20-14 at the half.
Michigan St scored on the first drive of the second half and looked to be pulling away, but a field goal and a pick six Gaje Ferguson brought the Aggies to within three. Sparty added a field goal to push the lead to six, but Love drove the Aggies 75 yards for the go-ahead score with 5:05 left.
MSU came right back on a Connor Heyward 13-yard run, but missed the two point conversion to leave the game at 38-31.
Utah St was able to get down to the MSU 46, but Joe Bachie picked off Love to thwart the upset.

The Aggies will take on New Mexico St (0-2) who have dropped games already to Wyoming and Minnesota.

The Wolfpack (1-0) and Vikings (0-1) were deadlocked at 9-9 after the first quarter, but then the offensive fireworks kicked in for Nevada.

Ty Gangi threw for 342 yards and three touchdowns, while the Nevada backs scampered for four touchdowns and 216 yards. The 72 points were the third most scored this season.
They draw Vanderbilt (1-0) next.

Nevada dropped 72, Ohio State dropped 77, but Fresno St had the highest scoring output in Week 1 with 79 against Idaho (0-1).Offensively, it was all ground and pound with 239 yards rushing and seven touchdowns, three of those belonging to Jordan Mims.
The reason they could focus on the run so much is because of the big lead the defense set up after a sluggish 16-6 first quarter.
After Mims' second touchdown, Idaho (0-1) went to respond, but the Bulldogs blocked the field goal attempt and Jaron Bryant scooped and scored for a 74-yard touchdown. Anthoula Kelly followed with a 39-yard pick six and the Vandals final attempt for points in the first half was once again blocked and Bryant ran it back 71 yards for a 44-6 lead.

Fresno State heads east to take on Minnesota (1-0) on Saturday.

Image result for stony brook air forceAir Force 38-Stony Brook 0
333 yards rushing and four touchdowns aided the Falcons (1-0) to a big win over the Sea Wolves (0-1). The worst part for Air Force was having to wait through a lengthy delay due to weather. The defense added the other touchdown on a Kyle Johnson pick six.
Air Forces will face Lane Kiffin and the FAU Owls (0-1) who are coming off a punishing loss to Oklahoma.
Image result for navy hawaii footballHawai'i 59-Navy 41
It was a rough homecoming for Navy (0-1) coach Ken Niumatalolo, who watched the Rainbow Warriors (2-0) drop 38 in the first half. Cole McDonald has already thrown for 846 yards and nine touchdowns in his first two games for Hawai'i, with 428 yards and six touchdowns coming against the Midshipmen.
There's no doubt that the resurgence of the Rainbow Warriors run and shoot offense is one of the early surprises this season. They've already accumulated 102 points and should have no problem building on that as they face off against Rice (1-1).
