Alex Hornibrook was plagued by the Wolverine defense finishing with just 100 yards while going 7-of-20 with two interceptions, including a pick-six. He did have a late touchdown pass. Jonathan Taylor did have 101 yards rushing in the loss.
Shea Patterson only threw for 124 yards, but didn't need to pass as he ran for 90 and scored and Michigan totaled 320 on the ground. Karan Higdon led the way with 105 yards and a score while back-up QB Dylan McCaffrey had just one run for a 44-yard touchdown.
The Wolverines look to exorcise another demon at No. 24 Michigan State (4-2, 2-1) while the Badgers host Illinois (3-3, 1-2).

Scott Frost was so close to his first win as the Nebraska (0-6, 0-4 Big Ten) head coach, but Pat Fitzgerald's Wildcats (3-3, 3-1) played spoilers with a late rally.
The Cornhuskers held a 20-14 after three quarters thanks to two Devine Ozigbo touchdown runs. Maurice Washington made it 26-14 and Adrian Martinez picked up a two-point conversion to make it a 14-point advantage. Clayton Thorson found Flynn Nagel for their second touchdown of the day to cut into the lead, but Barrett Pickering pushed the lead back to two scores with a 34-yard field goal.
Northwestern responded with field goal of their own with 2:27 to play, but would be pinned at their own 1-yard line after forcing a Nebraska punt. They quickly got out of the shadow of their own end zone thanks to a roughing the passer penalty. The Wildcats chipped away down the field and with 12 seconds left Thorson found J.J. Jefferson for a five yard touchdown.
In overtime, Martinez was picked off by J.R. Pace and Drew Luckenbaugh drilled the 37-yard field goal to win the game for Northwestern. It's the first time in school history that Nebraska has started 0-6.
The Wildcats head to Rutgers (1-6, 0-4) next while Nebraska searches for that elusive first win against Minnesota (3-3, 0-3).

Penn State would add the go ahead field goal with 9:21 to play and stopped the Spartans on a fourth and six at the Nittany Lions 22-yard line. Michigan State would punt before getting the ball with a 1:10 left. Needing to go at least 60 yards for the game tying field goal, the Spartans instead went for the deep ball on a third and two. Lewerke found a streaking Davis down the sideline and he reeled in the pass and stretched his way into the endzone for the 25-yard score.
A devastated Penn State crowd watched as their team got the ball with 19 seconds left and got one final heave to the end zone that was knocked down to finish off the upset.

Isaiah Pacheco did have 107 yards with a touchdown, but the ugliness continued throughout the game, including a botched kickoff return following the Terrapins first touchdown of the day. Maryland kicked the ball off, but no one for Rutgers covered the ball and the Terps recovered an on-side kick at the Scarlet Knights 23-yard line. That led to a field goal. Kasim Hill threw for three touchdowns and Ty Johnson ran for 132 yards and a score in the win.
The Terps will now head to No. 19 Iowa (5-1, 2-1) while Rutgers hosts Northwestern (3-3, 3-1).
