Joe Burrow had two interceptions in the Tigers (5-1, 2-1 SEC) final two drives to help Florida(5-1, 3-1) hand LSU their first loss of the season.
The Tigers started the scoring when Nick Brossette found the end zone from four yards out, but lost a second opportunity when Burrow was sacked and fumbled at the Florida 33. The Gators would tie the game with a 1-yard touchdown run, but LSU retook the lead when they settled for a Cole Tracy 33-yard field goal. Feleipe Franks gave Florida its first lead when he found Moral Stephens for a 3-yard touchdown to make it 14-10 going into the half.
The Tigers got the scoring started in the second half when they added another field goal and another Brossette short touchdown run, but they missed the two-point conversion to make it 19-14. The Gators responded to that touchdown with a long scoring drive that was set up by a Lucas Krull pass back to his quarterback Franks, who hauled in the 15-yard reception to put Florida at the LSU 2-yard line. Lamical Perine punched it from there for his second touchdown of the game. The Gators two-point conversion would also fail.
After trading two punts, LSU took over from their own 12-yard line, but Burrow would throw a pick-six to Brad Stewart Jr., who returned the interception 25 yards for the score to put the Gators up by eight. The Tigers were able to convert a fourth and 19 on their next drive, but Florida would seal the victory when Donovan Stiner picked off Burrow.
Before the game, the Gators added Heisman Trophy winner and current minor league baseball player in the New York Mets system, Tim Tebow, to their Ring of Honor. It was the second straight week that Florida has knocked off a ranked opponent.

They won't get a chance for three in a row as they travel to Vanderbilt (3-3, 0-2) in a potential trap game before they play Georgia (6-0, 4-0). Those same Bulldogs will head to Baton Rouge for a ranked showdown with the Tigers on Saturday.

Just like LSU, the Wildcats (5-1, 3-1 SEC) suffered a tough first loss of the season as the Aggies (4-2, 2-1) scored the only points in overtime to pull off the upset.
Texas A&M was able to bottle up Benny Snell Jr. for just 60 yards and Kentucky would need big plays from their offense and defense to stay in the game. It started in the first quarter when Terry Wilson found Lynn Bowden Jr. for a 54-yard touchdown that gave Kentucky an early 7-0 lead. Just before the end of the second half, the Aggies would get on the board when Kellen Mond connected with Quartney Davis for a 3-yard touchdown.
Both teams failed to score in the third quarter, but Texas A&M would take their first lead of the game when Mond tossed his second touchdown of the game, this one for 46 yards to Jace Stemberger. Then on a third and one with 4:30 left to play, the Aggies ran a keeper with Mond, but his was stripped and Kent Darius West scooped up the fumble and returned it 40 yards to tie the game. Neither team was able to score and the game would go to overtime.
In overtime, the Wildcats had a costly sack that forced a 43-yard field goal attempt by Miles Butler who watched his kick bounce off the crossbar and out. Needing just a field goal to win, Texas A&M elected for the sure thing when Trayveon Williams plowed his way for a 10-yard game winning touchdown.

The Aggies will head to South Carolina next for a showdown with the Gamecocks (3-2, 2-2) while Kentucky takes a week off to regroup before host Vanderbilt.

Another upset in the SEC as the Mississippi State Bulldogs (4-2, 1-2 SEC) limited Auburn (4-2, 1-2) to just three field goals.
On a day when Florida added Tim Tebow to their Ring of Honor, Nick Fitzgerald passed the former Heisman Trophy winner to become the lead rushing quarterback in SEC history. Fitzgerald found success on the ground Saturday, as he carried ball 28 times for 195 yards and two scores while only throwing 17 times for 69 yards and an interception in the win. Kylin Hill also helped the Bulldogs hold the ball for over 41 minutes as he ran it 23 times for 126 yards.
Auburn had just 90 yards rushing as a team with 88 of those yards going to JaTarvious Whitlow. The Tigers were within reach, but saw their final two drives halt at the Bulldogs 30 yard line.
Mississippi State will have an extra week to prepare for LSU on the road while Auburn hosts Tennessee (2-3, 0-2).

It was a shootout in Columbia, but it came down to the kickers in the final minutes to give the Gamecocks (3-2, 2-2 SEC) the last second victory over Missouri (3-2, 0-2).
The Tigers took a 23-14 lead into halftime with two rushing touchdowns and three Tucker McCann field goals, two from just 22 yards out. Michael Scarnecchia threw two touchdowns to Bryan Edwards for the Gamecocks two first half scores.
South Carolina rattled off the next 17 points when Scarnecchia found Deebo Samuel for an 8-yard score, Parker White knocked in a 42-yard field goal, and Sherrod Greene picked off Drew Lock and returned it 12 yards to make it a 31-23 game.
Larry Roundtree III ended the scoring run with his second rushing touchdown of the game, bu the Tigers would miss on the two-point conversion. McCann added a 44-yard field goal after a costly Gamecocks fumble and the Tigers were back on top 32-31.
South Carolina responded with another White field goal to re-take the lead, but then they had another shot to score after picking off Lock for the second time. The Gamecocks could not turn that mistake into points as they were stopped on a fourth and seven. Missouri seized on the missed opportunity by driving down the field and adding the fifth McCann field goal with only 1:18 left to play.
Starting at their own 31 yard line, the Gamecocks marched down the field and converted a key third and 11 to get the ball down to the Missouri 16-yard line with six seconds left. White put through the 33-yard field goal and the Tigers last play was an incompletion to seal the win for South Carolina.

South Carolina heads home to take on Texas A&M (4-2, 2-1) while Missouri's search for their first SEC win hits a roadblock with a trip to Alabama (6-0, 3-0).

There was no upset in this contest as the Bulldogs (6-0, 4-0 SEC) had their way with Vanderbilt (3-3, 0-2).
Jake Fromm threw for 276 yards and three touchdowns while Elijah Holyfield added 64 yards and a score on just six carries to lead Georgia. Josh Crawford added the Commodores only touchdown with only two seconds remaining when he ran it in from two yards out.
Georgia was able to pass the trap test and will gear up for a ranked showdown with LSU (5-1, 2-1) while Vanderbilt welcomes Florida (5-1, 3-1).

There's no doubt that Nick Saban is disappointed in his defense as they allowed 31 points to an 1-5 Arkansas (0-3 SEC) team, but none of that matters as the Crimson Tide (6-0, 3-0) averaged 16 points a quarter and obliterated the Razorbacks.
Tua Tagovailoa had 334 yards passing with four touchdowns with Jerry Jeudy hauling in four catches for 135 yards and two scores. Irv Smith Jr. finished with 123 yards on just two catches thanks to a 76-yard touchdown reception on the first play of the game. Damien Harris also added 111 yards on 15 carries with two touchdowns in the Alabama rout.
Rakeem Boyd did finish with 102 yards on 15 carries for Arkansas while Ty Storey tossed two touchdowns and Cheynenne O'Grady caught two touchdowns from two different quarterbacks.
Alabama looks to crush Missouri's (3-2, 0-2) soul next while Arkansas host an Ole Miss (4-2, 0-2) team that loves to score points.

Jordan Ta'amu threw for 374 yards and three touchdown while adding 63 yards and two more scores on the ground to lead a rout of Louisiana Monroe (2-4) by the Rebels (4-2).
Scottie Phillips had 74 yards rushing and two touchdowns and one receiving in the victory while A.J. Brown and DaMarkus Lodge both had nine catches for over 130 yards and a touchdown. Not to be forgotten, D.K. Metcalf need just four catches to eclipse the 100 yard mark receiving and also scored a touchdown.
The Rebels look for more points against the hapless Razorbacks (1-5, 0-3 SEC) in Arkansas.
