Justin Herbert tossed two touchdowns and Travis Dye carried the ball 20 times for 115 yards and a score in the win for Oregon. After a 21-21 halftime scoring burst, the two teams struggled to find any offense in the second half, but it would the Cougars (4-1, 1-1 PAC 12) delivering the big blow to the Utes (2-2, 0-2).
After a Gardner Minshew interceptions, Washington State and Utah traded touchdowns on four consecutive drives to begin the game. Tyler Huntley and Zack Moss each had a rushing touchdown for the Utes while Minshew redeemed himself with a rushing and passing score. The Cougars struck for the lead when Minshew connected with Dezmon Patmon for a 65-yard touchdown. That lead was short lived as Huntley plunged in for the second time to tie the game at 21.
Utah got on the board on their first drive of the second half with a 41-yard field goal by Matt Gay. Washington State had a chance to tie on their first drive, but just like last week against USC, Blake Mazza had his field goal blocked.
The Cougars wouldn't get another shot until five minutes left in the fourth quarter. Minshew and Easop Winston teamed up for an 89-yard touchdown with 4:14 left to play. The Utes were able to get as close as they WSU 38-yard line, but a costly holding penalty negated a 36-yard completion and Utah would end up turning the ball over on downs.

The Cougars will head to Oregon State (1-4, 0-2) while Utah travels to No. 14 Stanford (4-1, 1-0).

The Trojans (3-2, 2-1 PAC 12) built a comfortable 24-0 lead, but the Wildcats (2-3, 1-1) put together a rally that made things interesting late in the game.
USC built their lead with a strong running attack led by Aca'Cedric Ware who had two long touchdown runs. Vavae Malepeai added a 1-yard run to start the scoring.
Stanley Berryhill III got Arizona on the board first as he caught a 33-yard pass form Khalil Tate for the touchdown. Tate hooked up with Cedric Peterson for a 32-yard score after the Wildcat defense strip sacked J.T. Daniels.
The defense would get to Daniels again and force another fumble, but this time their drive would stall at the Trojans 46. USC would get stopped at their Arizona 35 on their next drive and the Wildcats would march down and score on a Gary Brightwell 1-yard touchdown. Lucas Havrisik would miss the PAT to make it 24-20. The Trojans recovered the onside kick and ran out the clock to seal the win.

USC will take the week off before taking on Colorado while the Wildcats host Cal (3-1, 0-1).

Benjamin ran for 312 yards and three touchdowns on 30 carries to lead the Sun Devils. Manny Wilkins also tossed three touchdowns in the victory including one to Benjamin.
All of this overshadowed Jermar Jefferson, who put together his second game of over 230 yards as he ran for 254 and two scores on 31 carries in the loss. Conor Blount threw a touchdown for the Beavers.
Arizona State travels to No. 21 Colorado next (4-0, 1-0) while Oregon State hosts Washington State (4-1, 1-1).

Colorado (4-0, 1-0 PAC 12)  is 4-0 for the first time since 1998 thanks in part to a second half blitz that saw the Buffaloes outscore UCLA (0-4, 0-1) 24-3. The Bruins are 0-4 for the first time since 1971.
Laviska Shenault Jr. caught 12 passes for 126 yards and a score as well as finishing with a rushing TD.
