The woes continue for the Volunteers (2-3, 0-2 SEC) as they had no answer for the Bulldogs rushing attack that garnered five touchdowns.
D'Andre Swift and Justin Fields had two rushing touchdowns each while Isaac Nauta recovered his quarterbacks fumble and ran it in for 31-yard score. Jarrett Guarantano had two touchdown passes in the loss.
Georgia will host Vanderbilt (3-2, 0-1) next while Tennessee takes a week off before heading to Auburn.
Joe Burrow threw for three touchdowns and ran for another as the Tigers (5-0, 2-0 SEC) clobbered the Rebels (3-2, 0-2).
Justin Jefferson had five catches for 99 yards and two scores while Nick Brossette and Clyde Edwards-Helaire added rushing touchdowns for LSU.
Scottie Phillips had 16 carries for 96 yard and a touchdown in the loss for Ole Miss.
LSU faces No. 22 Florida (4-1, 2-1) on the road next while the Rebels go out of conference to host Louisiana Monroe (2-3).
The Wildcats (5-0, 3-0 SEC) continue their dominance in SEC play as they rolled over South Carolina (2-2, 1-2).
The Gamecocks committed four turnovers including three interceptions thrown by Jake Bentley. Bentley did have a touchdown pass to Deebo Samuel.
Benny Snell Jr. added to his Heisman case with another 99 yards and a touchdown. Terry Wilson and Amin Rose also had rushing scores for the Wildcats.
Kentucky travels to Texas A&M (3-2, 1-1) next while South Carolina hosts Missouri (3-1, 0-1).
The return of Dan Mullen to Starkville was a defensive struggle as the Gators (4-1, 2-1 SEC) held Mississippi State (3-2, 0-2) to just 202 yards of total offense.
The Bulldogs took a 6-3 lead into halftime, but Florida took the lead early in the third quarter when the Gators got into their bag of tricks. Running back Kadarius Toney ended up throwing a touchdown to Moral Stephens. Florida added a fourth quarter field goal and were able to stop the Bulldogs at the Florida 45 to end the game.
The now No. 22 Gators will host the No. 5 LSU Tigers (5-0, 2-0) in a ranked showdown. Mississippi State also hosts a ranked opponent in No. 8 Auburn (4-1, 1-1).
The Aggies (3-2, 1-1 SEC) survived a late rally by the Razorbacks (1-4, 0-2) and overcame some self inflicted wounds.
Texas A&M got the game started with a 100-yard return by Jashaun Corbin. The Aggies built on that lead when Trayveon Williams ran in for a 1-yard touchdown. Texas A&M would get a field goal, but also watched Kellen Mond throw two picks and Seth Small miss a 36-yard field goal. The Razorbacks would make it a 17-7 game with a Cole Kelley touchdown run.
Arkansas made it 17-10 on their first possession and it stayed that way when Small missed again, this time from 33 yards out. A&M finally got on the board in the fourth quarter when Williams scored for the second time. The Razorbacks answered with a Ty Storey 29-yard touchdown pass to Michael Woods.
The Aggies were forced to punt on their next drive and Arkansas moved the ball near midfield before Storey was picked off by Donovan Wilson to secure the win.
Texas A&M hosts No. 13 Kentucky (5-0, 3-0) while Arkansas looks for SEC win number one against the top ranked Crimson Tide (5-0, 2-0).
It was over before it started as Alabama (5-0) staked itself to a 49-0 lead and didn't allow a point to Ragin' Cajuns (1-3) until the fourth quarter.
Tua Tagovailoa was 8/8 for 128 yards and two touchdowns as he was one of three different quarterbacks to throw a touchdown. Jaylen Waddle led the way with just three catches, but had 138 yards and two touchdowns, including a 94-yard strike. He also returned a punt 63 yards for a score. Henry Ruggs III was no slouch either as he caught five balls for 116 yards and two scores as well.
The Crimson Tide outgained Louisiana 608-288 while the defense forced two turnovers.
Alabama returns to SEC play as they head to Arkansas to take on the Razorbacks (1-4, 0-2 SEC).
The Tigers (4-1) survived three hours of lightning delays and a late rally by the Golden Eagles (2-2) to come away with a choppy victory.
Jarrett Stidham tossed two touchdowns and Anthony Schwartz ran in another to lead the way for Auburn. Southern Miss got within eight points and were driving in the fourth quarter when Jack Abraham was picked off by Christian Tutt near midfield. That led to a Anders Carlson field goal that put the game out of reach.
Auburn travels to Mississippi State (3-2, 0-2 SEC) next.
The Tigers (2-1) gave the Commodores (3-2) a run for their money, but the game was overshadowed by a scary situation.
Tennessee State linebacker Christion Abercrombie was taken off the field in a stretcher after collapsing from a head injury on a routine tackle. Abercrombie was still in critical condition after needing emergency surgery.
As for the game, the Tigers took a 27-24 lead in the fourth quarter when Demry Croft found Andrew Knox for a 1-yard touchdown pass. It took the Commodores just three plays for Kyle Shurmur to hook up with Kalija Lipscomb for a 68-yard score. Tennessee State would get down inside the redzone, but Vanderbilt was able to force an incomplete pass on a fourth and four to avoid the upset.
Vanderbilt heads to No. 2 Georgia (5-0, 3-0 SEC) next.
