The Bulls (6-1, 3-0 MAC) continued to cruise through the Mid American Confernce as they held Akron (2-3, 0-2) to just 235 yards of total offense.

The Bulls will now head to Toledo (3-3, 1-1) while the Zips head to Kent State (1-6, 0-3) for a chance to make their rival bowl ineligible.

The Huskies (4-3, 4-0 MAC) had more fourth quarter magic in them as they scored 15 unanswered to stun Ohio (3-3, 1-1).
The Bobcats built a 21-9 lead on two Nathan Rourke touchdown passes and an A.J. Ouellette rushing score. Northern Illinois' nine came thanks to a field goal and a D.J. Brown 28-yard score, but a missed two-point conversion.
The Huksies inched closer at the beginning of the fourth quarter when they ran a 12 play drive that was capped by a Marcus Childers 10-yard touchdown run. The Bobcats committed their third turnover of the second half on their next drive and that led to a Marcus Jones touchdown run. A two-point conversion gave NIU a three point advantage.
Ohio was forced to punt and then had no answer on defense as the Huskies converted two third downs late to secure the victory.
NIU takes a break from dominating the MAC to head west and take on BYU (4-3). Ohio will host the struggling Bowling Green Falcons (1-6, 0-3).

Eastern Michigan (3-4, 1-3 MAC) hadn't beat Toledo (3-3, 1-1) since 2007 and nearly missed that opportunity as the Rockets fourth quarter rally just fell short.
The Eagles were coasting to a 28-3 lead thanks to the legs of quarterback Mike Glass III who ran for 125 yards and two scores. Willie Parker burst through for a 50-yard touchdown run and Shaq Vann added a rushing score. However, EMU would not have Glass to work with when he went down with a leg injury.
That opened a door for Toledo as they went into the fourth quarter trailing 28-6. The first score came when Mitchell Guadagni found Cody Thompson for an 18-yard touchdown. Their next drive ended with a 1-yard touchdown run and all of the sudden, it was a one score game.
The Eagles forced an interception, but turned the ball over on downs after calling a puzzling quarterback draw from shotgun with their third string quarterback. That decision left the Rockets with a short field and they converted on a fourth and goal with 20 seconds left as no one accounted for Guadagni, who scrambled up the middle for the score. Needing the two-point conversion, the EMU defense held pat as they knocked away the intended pass to snap their four game losing streak.
The Eagles head to Ball State (3-4, 2-1) next while Toledo hosts Buffalo (6-1, 3-0).

The Golden Flashes (1-6, 0-3 MAC) had no answers offensively as they watched Miami (3-4, 3-1) jump out to a 31-0 lead before they scored.
Gus Ragland threw for a touchdown and ran for another while Kenny Young led the team in rushing (90 yards) and receiving (47) while adding a score on the ground. Jaylon Bester added the other rushing touchdown for the Redhawks.
Quarterback Woody Barrett ran for Kent State's lone score. The Golden Flashes have now dropped five straight while Miami has won three of their last four.
The Redhawks go out of conference to take on the mighty Army Black Knights (4-2) while Kent State hosts rival Akron (2-3, 0-2).

The Falcons (1-6, 0-3 MAC) were poised to snap their three game losing skid with a win on Homecoming, but were outscored 35-14 in the second half by Western Michigan (5-2, 3-0).
Bowling Green built their lead quickly with a 74-yard Andrew Clair touchdown run and then Jarret Doege hooked up with Scott Miller for a 76-yard touchdown. Jon Wassink and Jamauri Bogan brought the Broncos back with two touchdowns each to tie the game at 28 going into the fourth quarter.
Doege found Miller for the second time to give the Falcons the lead just 59 seconds later. That lead was short lived as Bogan ran for his third touchdown of the day just over three minutes later. BG was forced to punt and Bogan once again pounded his way into the end zone to give WMU the lead. The next two drives would end on Doege interceptions to seal the comeback for the Broncos.
Western looks to build on its five game win streak and a chance to wrap up the Michigan-MAC-Trophy as they head to Central Michigan (1-6, 0-3). Bowling Green heads to Ohio (3-3, 1-1).

Ball State (3-4, 2-1 MAC) erased a 20-7 deficit in the fourth quarter to stun the Chippewa's (1-6, 0-3) at home.
Riley Neal threw for a touchdown and ran for a go ahead score in the fourth quarter. Central Michigan answered with a 47-yard field goal from Ryan Tice with 4:19 left to play, but Morgan Hagee put through the game winning kick with 47 seconds to play.Tommy Lazzaro, who was responsible for both, couldn't lead the CMU to rally.
Ball State hosts Eastern Michigan (3-4, 1-3) next while CMU has a showdown with rival Western Michigan (5-2, 3-0).
